Refresher Courses
These courses are for candidates who already hold an NPTC certificate, but who wish to refresh their skills. Some companies require their employees to update their skills after a length of time. HSE recommend occasional users have a refresher course every three years and regular users every five years.
Why Do I Need Training?
Training is a legal requirement. The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) require employers to provide adequate training and to ensure that chainsaws and related equipment are operated by employees who have received appropriate training in their safe use.
